The peninsula Jasmund extends from Lietzow to the coast of the Baltic Sea and further via Neumukran, Sassnitz and Lohme to Glowe. The Grosse Jasmunder Bodden forms the western shore. The Stubbenkammer with the chalk cliffs is the most prominent and famous area, which further includes the Koenigsstuhl (119 m above sea level), the lake Herthasee, Herthaburg castle and the splendid beech groves. Furthermore, there are Bobbin with its noteworthy stone church and the castle Schloss spyker at the Bodden-shore.
