Sellin, documented for the first time in 1295, was for many centuries part of the estate of the Earl of Putbus. This place, also referred to as the "Pearl of Ruegen", is surrounded by extensive beech groves. The rebuilt historic seabridge and the ensemble of hotels and guesthouses, which carry the status as historically protected buildings, belong to the treasure of the bath architecture at the German Baltic Sea coast.
Binz is located at the Prorer Wiek. With about 6000 inhabitants, it is the largest Baltic Sea resort of the island of Ruegen. It was documented for the first time in 1318 as the fishing village Byntze. The open sea adjoins in the East close to the moorland Schmale Heide and the castle Granitz, located at the lake Schmachter See. Noteworthy are the 1872 hours of sunshine per year as well as the broad sandy beach and the spa architecture. The promenade is 3.2 km long. Its attractions are the Kurhaus, the concert hall with a pavillon, the pergolas and the pump room. Together with the sea bridge in its centre of the promenade, these sights invite guests for a stroll.
Baabe looks back onto 750 yeasr of history: is was apparently documented for the first time in 1252. The place is located simultaneously at the opening towards the peninsula Moenchgut and the secondary road B196. The attractive bathing village with its beautiful environment and its marvellous beaches offers a"loafing alley“ in the style of spa architecture, a Kurpark as well as camping and summer cottage areas.

The ancient fishing village ‚Mönchgut‘ in Göhren ( 2007: 1291 inhabitants) became coastal resort in 1878 allready. The basically known attraction is the narrow-gange railway station. To the end of the 19th. Century this connection lead to an economic boom. Nowadays lots of hotels, appartements, restaurants, an d even a camp-site offer their services. A promenade wia Baake is connecting Sellin. The pier is the starting point for trips with a pleasure boat along the coast to the ‚Königsstuhl‘. The nice beach is inviting all swimmers.
